Planning support and education services requires multifaceted information from professionals, parents, and children. Despite this, educators have emphasized professional opinions in individual education plans (IEPs), whereas the perspectives of children and parents have remained inconsequential. In this study, we examine the intertextual voices of children, parents, and specialists in IEPs (N = 287) drafted in Finnish early childhood education and care (ECEC). However, school may be strong protective factor in difficulties if supports are individual. Vanhempien osallisuuden kuvaukset perusopetuksen vuosiluokkien 1-6 oppimissuunnitelmissa ja HOJKS-asiakirjoissa

Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan vanhempien osallisuuden kuvauksia perusopetuksen vuosiluokilla 1-6 laadituissa oppimisen ja koulunkäynnin tuen asiakirjoissa. Tutkimusaineiston muodostivat 38 oppimissuunnitelmaa sekä 45 HOJKS-asiakirjaa, jotka analysoitiin sisällönanalyysilla. Teorialähtöisen sisällönanalyysin pohjana oli Epsteinin osallisuutta kuvastava kuusiportainen malli, jonka pohjalta tuotettiin kuva vanhemmuuden osallisuuden sisällöistä asiakirjoissa. Lisäksi tutkimuksessa eriteltiin, millaisia merkityksiä vanhemmuus sai kuhunkin osallisuuden ulottuvuuteen sisältyvissä lausumissa. W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę subiektywnej oceny propozycji wprowadzanych rozwiązań dotyczących podniesienia efektywności kształcenia zawodowego i zwiększenia jego prestiżu w społeczeństwie na tle oczekiwań rynku pracy.
Setting individual goals for pupils with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities—engaging in the activity area-based curriculum making

The activity area-based curriculum model (AACM) is used in the Finnish basic education to support pupils—most of whom have profound intellectual and multiple disabilities (PIMD)— who could benefit more from skills that advance independent life coping. Existing studies have concentrated mainly on the Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal-setting process for pupils with milder disabilities than PIMD and have consistently demonstrated significant barriers in the process. Nowa reforma oświaty – szansa czy zagrożenie dla rozwoju szkolnictwa zawodowego?

Wdrażana reforma oświaty w zakresie szkolnictwa zawodowego znajduje się obecnie w początkowym stadium. Zapoczątkowała ją aktualizacja klasyfikacji zawodów oraz wprowadzenie szkół branżowych. Ministerstwo Edukacji Narodowej aktualnie kładzie duży nacisk na rozwój szkolnictwa zawodowego. Zainicjowany proces zmian, m.in. dzięki wprowadzeniu kształcenia dualnego, ma na celu dostosowanie systemu kształcenia zawodowego do potrzeb nowoczesnej gospodarki. Ścisła współpraca szkół zawodowych z lokalnymi przedsiębiorcami ma za zadanie promować szkolnictwo zawodowe i zwiększać jego prestiż w społeczeństwie.
